namely the brief cover of "Fanfare for the Common Man" by Aaron Copland, played in a similar manner as ELP used to perform it. This is the synth portion at the beginning of Mr. Don...
And I for one think the remastering is perhaps a little overly compressed. Minor gripe. I haven't heard the unmastered version but overall this version sounds fantastic.

Subject: Great sounding show
Subject: Great sounding show
The recording and remastering job on this show are superb. Great first set with many memorable moments. Highlights of this show for me were the Mr.Don (one of the better I've heard in a while), overture, ape>inverted boop>ape (so intense). and bazaar escape. The rainbow song was really fun at the show and there were some moments of greatness durring the dribble>buddha sequence. I feel like the second set seemed really bland in comparison to the first, but is well played nonetheless. I definitly suggest giving this show a download or at least the first set. show gets 4 stars, recording gets 5.
